Make Your Own Micro Mosaics with Maria
Event description
Mosaics a present across cultures, continents and eras. They can be stunningly detailed and realistic, or cheery, colourful patterns. And even miniature, personal mosaic works in the form of jewellery.
In this class we'll be learning to make micro mosaics from straightforward materials. You don't need to be a great artist to create a design that will standout as a micro mosaic. You can choose from different backings, such as a keyring, magnet or pendant.
All materials provided. Just come and have a great time!

- Mosaic materials for different uses
- Important tools - tweezers and good eyesight!
- Creating clear design that will translate to mosaic
- Different backings - keyrings, magnets, pendants
- Sealing your work
- Special considerations, and other insider tips and tricks

Who will be Teaching?
Maria (she/her) is a serial crafter. She loves learning about new crafts and techniques! She does crochet, macrame, sewing, pottery, weaving and likes to explore how these crafts can be combined and expanded.
