MODULAR 2: VCV RACK

This workshop will explore the foundations of modular synthesis using the free and incredible VCV Rack software. You'll learn how to navigate the modular environment, understand signal flow, and build patches from the ground up. This session is ideal for beginners and anyone looking to better understand the building blocks of modular synthesis.

We will also touch on the history of modular synthesis and compare various formats.

This is a bring your own/ BYO- Laptop or iPad workshop. 

We highly recommend bringing a mouse too.

*A limited number of iPads will be available for those without a working laptop or iPad.

iOS13 or later. miRack App purchase of $15 required.

If your ipad does not support aux (3.5mm) out, please BYO-adapter.

*Chromebooks are not supported. 

*No bluetooth headphones/ Airpods

Este taller explorará las bases de la síntesis modular utilizando el software gratuito e increíble VCV Rack. Aprenderás a navegar el entorno modular, entender el flujo de señal y construir patches desde cero. Esta sesión es ideal para principiantes y para quienes quieran comprender mejor los componentes básicos de la síntesis modular.
También hablaremos brevemente sobre la historia de la síntesis modular y compararemos varios formatos.

Este es un taller de trae tu propia/ BYO- Laptop o iPad.
También te recomendamos traer un mouse.

*Una cantidad limitada de iPads estará disponible para quienes no cuenten con una laptop o iPad funcional.

Si tu iPad no tiene salida auxiliar (3.5mm), por favor trae tu propio adaptador.

No se permiten audífonos bluetooth / AirPods.

Safety: Masks and hand sanitizer will be provided.  

Directions: Crashbox is the last bay door to your left. Parking is limited.

Headphones will be provided but feel free to bring your own.
