Join this Mount David walk to identify native plants, learn about land health, discover ways to boost biodiversity, and enjoy morning tea and lunch.

Event details:
This educational morning walk explores the remnant Grassy Box Woodlands and Scribbly Gum Forest at Kennedy Park, Mount David.

Local Land Services staff and Dan Clarke from Arcane Botanica will lead a guided walk and talk through the conserved vegetation at Rod and Alexandra’s property.

Come along to:

  • Identify vegetation in Scribbly Gum and Box forests and woodlands.

  • Bring along photos and samples for Dan to help with identification.

  • Learn tips on assessing the health of your land and its natural assets.

  • Discover ways to boost biodiversity for both nature and farm productivity.

Landholders, nature lovers, and anyone keen to learn more about local vegetation and healthy ecosystems are encouraged to come along.

Additional details:

  • Morning tea and lunch are provided.

  • Please bring a hat, water, binoculars, and sturdy shoes for walking through bushland.
