Nature connection circle with nature journaling/doodling (Wirreanda Park)
Event description
Want to spend some time with like-minded people, get that nature fix and fit in some nature journaling?
This is a medium length nature therapy*/nature connection session with pencil-and-paper invitations. No experience or artistic talents necessary!
I've recently come back to trying nature journaling and am inspired to share simple ideas to get pencil to paper, minimum fuss and self-judgement. It's not about how pretty the picture is, it's about taking the time to slow down, notice details, scale and relationships with the added tool of a notebook to record sketches, words, numbers, questions, colours and more questions.
After an introduction and connecting with this beautiful pocket of place through our senses, I'll share some prompts to have a go at some simple styles of nature journaling. As usual, there'll be opportunity to share and chat with other attendees and finish with tea. All who can hold a pencil are welcome!
If you have a journal, you're welcome to bring it, but I'll provide some pencils, sketch paper and leaning boards for those who aren't there yet.
Would you love to do this but prefer to do it in a private group of your own? Can do! Check out Gift cards & private groups or get in touch to negotiate an event for your group.
Meeting details and other important information will be shared with registered attendees via email before the event date. Preparation for the experience requires knowing numbers in advance. If you can not book online, please contact Jay at jayridgewell@gmail.com or 0476 212 616 to reserve a place.
The event may be cancelled or changed e.g. in the case of severe weather. Full refunds are available up to 24 hours before the event.
