Nature Layers: Pressed & Painted with artist Zoe Awen

Ages: 7 – 12 years

Celebrate the arrival of spring with a creative nature art workshop led by artist Zoe Awen! In this hands-on session, children will explore the art of layering using pre-pressed flowers, and a variety of mixed media materials to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind artworks.

Learn how to combine natural textures with artistic techniques to make a small mixed media artwork and a handmade gift card. Zoe will guide you through painting and drawing methods, helping you explore composition, form, and colour while encouraging your imagination to bloom.

Using materials like watercolours, pastels, and pencils, children will discover how nature and creativity come together to make something truly special.
