Description

Nature Playgroup for Home Education Groups (6 - 12 years) @ CERES!

Introducing Nature Play for Home Education and Flexible Learning families!

Nature Play at CERES School of Nature & Climate invites children to learn through curiosity, exploration and hands-on play in the natural world. Sessions combine child-led discovery with thoughtfully guided activities, encouraging children to investigate local plants and animals, weather and seasonal changes while developing confidence, creativity, collaboration and a deeper connection with Nature.

Led by a qualified Forest School Educator, children are encouraged to use all their senses and explore the natural environment as they ask questions, experiment, problem solve, create and follow their own interests while discovering the living classroom around them.

Being outdoors in nature offers unplanned, unknown, unpredictable encounters; these are significant provocations for learning.” (Adapted from Waters, 2012)
