Nongkrong presents: Soda Gembira

Nongkrong’s club night, Soda Gembira, returns for its second iteration. A nod to the classic Indonesian pink drink, we’re serving the same fizzy, equal parts playful and a little nakal energy to the dance floor – a love letter to self-expression and the ass-shaking club angels. 

With dancers and DJs taking over, expect a journey through Indonesia’s underrepresented club sounds from dangdut, koplo, funkot, jedag jedug to breakbeat. 

From 3pm, Indonesian DJs will be spinning tunes on the rooftop. Of course, there's no Nongkrong without food so Ulam Rasa will be serving Indonesian food from 5pm. Dinner is Nasi Kuning, a celebratory turmeric coconut rice commonly served at Indonesian festivities, topped with balado chilli egg, sweet tempeh, fried vermicelli noodles and garlic crackers. Pre-order for this meal is available so you don't miss out. A bigger menu of snacks will also be available, made to order on the night.

AMIRA

Amira is a DJ whose craft is guided by the communities and dance floors of her many homes.  Light on their feet yet grounded in rhythm,  her selections reflect a deep affinity for the historical and cultural roots of house, techno, and beyond. 

CRISTAL NO.5

CRISTAL NO.5 is a DJ, producer, and event organiser known for high-energy, genre-bending sets that keep the dancefloor wild and unpredictable. Her sets are marked by a fearless energy, weaving together sounds from across genres to create a space where musical boundaries don’t exist and the unexpected thrives.

MISS DIESEL
The soft-and-cunt BOMBSHELL of the House of Diesel, Mikha aka Miss Diesel, brings playful charm, elegant beauty, and showgirl essence to the stage. Always the proud Indonesian artist, and always representing the FQs of the ballroom community; she blends sweetness, undeniable cunt, and sambal spice into her acts. Have a taste and let her draw you in with a warm, fun, and irresistible presence.

OLITA
Ōlita is making waves with her unique fusion of Afro/Latin house/club, Reggaeton, Gqom, Baile Funk, Guarachá, Tribal, and Global Sounds. Her sets draw inspiration from her Timorese/Portuguese/Argentinian  heritage and global influences, and she’s become known for creating fast-paced grooves that flow seamlessly with slow, sensual rhythms. 

RIVI
Blending R&B, Hip Hop, Afro Beats, Afro House, Amapiano and House, RIVI creates sets that balance groove, emotion and energy. Her approach is less about genre and more about creating moments of connection, where people from different backgrounds can come together through music. 

SAKIDASUMI
Known for her hypnotising multifaceted live performances and high energy, powerful DJ sets, Sakidasumi draws you into her strong and expressive world that leaves you in a trance. She blends Indobounce with global club sounds such as Baile Funk and Jersey Club, while morphing movement into her live performances, communicating through soft and hard flow.
