Learn more about Depression in this free, interactive workshop with Bryon Cope from Depression Support Network. 

What to expect:

  • a safe, friendly environment where everyone is welcome
  • learn from Bryon's own experiences of depression 
  • explore the 9 clinical signs of depression so you can recognise depression in yourself or those around you
  • hear Mid Canterbury farmer & rural firefighter Dennis Bird share about his journey
  • get practical tools and tips for how to manage depression and/or how to support those you are concerned about
  • build on what you already know about the topic and share your experiences if you wish
  • the workshop is about 90 minutes and interactive
  • we'll conclude with supper kindly sponsored by Rural Support Trust & a cuppa for those who can stay (until 9pm)
  • spot prizes up for grabs including a jet boat ride kindly donated by Discovery Jet!
