Have you been putting off that project? Don’t have the tools or the space to complete it? Want to craft in community?
Come to U.F.O. — Unfinished Objects — Club: an adults-only, get-it-done open studio for “procraftinators.” It’s a workshop where we make art with shared tools, shared materials, a shared space, and shared inspiration.
This Friday's theme is Halloween Costume Crunch! 🦇🕷️🎃👻💀
Halloween is ALMOST HERE... is your costume done?! If not, no worries—spend a couple hours at SCRAP Crafternoon to wrap up those last props, cardboard masks, and scary details! Come crunch to get that costume up to snuff!
Note: we only have 6 sewing machines available for use for experienced sewists; we've got plenty of hand-sewing tools. If you need special materials for your costume—like lots of foam, or huge swatches of cardboard—we may or may not have exactly what you need. Fabric by the yard is for sale out in the store, but not available in the studio. We recommend bringing in or buying any important bases for your costume, and we'll hopefully fill in the gaps!
Think you'll need more than two hours on your costume? Come back to the studio again at the end of the weekend forSunday Night Stitchin' (ages 16+), our studio drop-in time for sewists and fiber artists! Receive an upgraded set of sewing tools, including access to home sewing machines, quilting rulers, rotary cutters, and so much more!
Club hours are 4:00-7:00.
