OPEN CHRISTCHURCH 2025: Mountfort’s Works
With: Dr Ian Lochhead, architectural historian
Where: Central city (Meeting point will be provided to registered attendees)
Delve deep into the Gothic Revival style and its leading local exponent, Benjamin Mountfort, on a walk that takes in many of his major works in the western end of the city. Expert Dr Ian Lochhead covers The Arts Centre and Christ’s College, with a nod to Canterbury Museum, currently undergoing works. $5 + BFs.
