About the course

Planning is an essential aspect of palliative caring. The one-hour education course focuses on five simple steps to identify an individual’s circle of support and collaboratively work together to plan for their care requirements.

Why attend?

The way we care for our dying reflects the humanity and compassion of our society. Through training, we can create resilience, understanding, and capacity within our community helping us care for others.

Who can attend?

The course is for all members of the community and there is no requirement for training or experience within the health or palliative care space to attend. While not directly targeted to health professionals, we welcome the attendance of everyone interested in these areas.

  • Activating your circle of support
  • 5 steps for planning
  • Self-care  

Health professionals can earn 1 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) point for completing this event and 7 for completing the PalliLEARN course.
