About the course

Compassion is more than just a thought and more than a feeling. Compassion involves doing something to reduce suffering. The one our education course provides an overview of compassion and the concept in action.

Why attend?

The way we care for our dying reflects the humanity and compassion of our society. Through training, we can create resilience, understanding and capacity within our community helping us care for others.

Who can attend?

The course is for all members of the community and there is no requirement for training or experience within the health or palliative care space to attend. While not directly targeted to health professionals, we welcome the attendance of everyone interested in these areas.

  • Compassion in Action

Health professionals can earn 1 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) point for completing this event and 7 for completing the PalliLEARN course.
