Parkes Elvis Festival - Wednesday 20th to Sunday 24th April 2022
The Parkes Elvis Festival is an annual event celebrating the music and the legend of Elvis Presley held in early January in the Australian New South Wales regional town of Parkes. The first festival in 1993 was simply a one-night performance attracting 300 attendees. Wikipedia.
Day One:
Pick-ups commence by 04:30. Breakfast (at own cost) Heatherbrae (choose between Heatherbrae Pies, Hungry Jacks, KFC, or Guzman & Gomez own cost). Comfort stop @ Denman. Lunch @ Rylstone. Afternoon comfort stop Bathurst. Arrive and check-in to Cowra Motor Inn. Dinner tonight is at the Lachlan Valley Hotel around 18:00.

Day Two:
After breakfast at the Cowra Bowling Club, we head over to Parkes. Enjoy a couple of hours at the ‘Ultimate Elvis Festival’ before we head out to the CSIRO, Parkes Radio Telescope Visitor’s Centre. Spend a couple of hours in Parkes before we head out to dinner at The Ironbark Smoked Barbecue at the Mill.

Day Three:
Breakfast at the Cowra Bowling Club and into Parkes for the Parkes Festival Street Parade. Spend the day in Parkes. Leaving around 16:00 it's back to Cowra to freshen up for our Dinner & Show at the Cowra Bowling Club.

Day Four:
Breakfast at the Cowra Bowling Club and into Parkes for the Gospel Service. Spend the day enjoying the sights and sounds at the feature concerts around. Dining tonight will be at Montrose House.

Day Five:
They say all good things must come to an end ☹ Today we say goodbye to our hosts at the Cowra Motor Inn. After breakfast, we head home. Cuppa and comfort stop at Bathurst before lunch at Rylstone. Afternoon comfort stops at Denman and dinner at Heatherbrae. Drop-offs commence from the Ikew visitor Centre around 20:30.
