PHILLY FRINGE: Philly Puppet Slam!

Admission $10–$30 sliding scale (No One Turned Away). September 12 & 13 at Studio 34, two nights only of variety short form puppet shows! Music starts at 8:30 PM, show starts at 9:00 PM. Masks required, thank you!

Puppetry is all the rage in Philadelphia once again, and Studio 34 is back on the map as a hub for puppeteers to show their work. Come bask in the warm glow of our stage for two nights of beautiful puppets! This is the special September Fringe-Fest installment of monthly puppet slams where a smorgasbord of puppeteers will perform their acts. There are so many things you can do with puppets! Will you laugh? Will you shed a tear? You will definitely be amazed. And, maybe, you will see a shooting star in the clear night sky on your way out the door...no promises on that one though!

About the Artists:

Philly Puppet Slams are hosted and organized collectively by local puppeteers.  Although we're not a collective (yet), we are a bunch of folks who believe in the power and transformation of live handmade storytelling, and who are coordinating to have more of that in our city.

For Fringe Festival events, Studio 34 is allotted a limited number of advance tickets If we are "sold out" here, please check Studio 34's page on the Philly Fringe website. All online sales end 2 hours before showtime. More tickets may be available at the door.
