Platypus Talk & Spotting Session
Event description
Learn all about one of the most unique creatures in the world - the platypus! Discover what makes them so unusual, what they eat, where they live and how you can help protect them and their habitat. Following the talk there'll be an opportunity to do a platypus spotting session along the river.
This event is presented by Gemma Snowball, Ecology Australia on behalf of Yarra Ranges Council.

Acknowledgement of Country
The Yarra Riverkeeper Association acknowledges that the lands and waterways of the Yarra, Birrarung catchment, are the unceded territories of the Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung and Bunurong peoples. We pay respect to Traditional Owners, who have, and continue, to care for Country. We acknowledge that the river now called Yarra has always been known as the Birrarung by its custodians.
