Positive Discipline In the Montessori Classroom Course

This interactive in-person workshop is designed for educators of all age groups who work in Montessori or non-Montessori environments.

Participants will learn to:

• Create a classroom where children can develop a sense of belonging and significance based on the importance of contribution and mutual respect.

• Develop a large teaching toolbox of kind and firm discipline approaches that align with Montessori principles.

• Facilitate effective class meetings that teach social skills and problem-solving strategies while also empowering students.

• Generate an awareness of cross-cultural issues in facilitating social and emotional learning.

• Understand the motivations behind students’ behaviour and how to encourage positive change
