I A M O N A Q U E S T

TO BREAK THE SILENCE OF DEATH & DYING
So death, dying and grief is less devastating for all by enabling free monthly open conversations to educate and provide opportunities to ask those questions we don't dare ask!

OPEN CONVERSATIONS
Offered freely each Month | 12.30pm-1.30pm | Noosa River opposite Deadly Espresso Cafe in the park (sometimes held online)

W H Y  because what I have found in my work helping many through death and grief, including my own experience of loss, is that many people are afraid to talk about #death and #fear their own #mortality.

It truly doesn’t have to be this way!

So I am here to encourage us all to go on a self-discovery journey together to uncover your truths, to ask those curious questions so I can provide you with the reassurance that there is truly nothing to fear about death, dying or grief.

#OpenConversations enable you to engage in light discussion, share ideas, ask questions and raise any concerns you may have without fear or judgement about death, dying, grief and spirituality. Together learning and growing as Melissa provides any help as needed to plan and prepare for death including empowering you to feel supported as you develop resilience with any current life challenges associated with death, dying and grief.

MAY OPEN CONVERSATIONS ...
TOPIC | "ADVANCED DIRECTIVES" -- Have you planned ahead?

This is an introductory session to talk about Advanced Care planning. Discussions about your legal choices and options with how to prepare and nominate a substitute decision-maker for your personal health decisions in case you are unable to communicate your own needs and preferences with illness. It is also an opportunity to explore a simple Advance Directive form that helps you begin to understand the processes of setting out your wishes in advance. Learning what matters most to you with health care decisions that give you simple steps to follow to begin the process of getting your affairs in order. Please know, some questions might feel challenging this is why it is much better to move through these important decisions now with someone experienced in navigating this path and importantly ... when you are of a sound mind, not overwhelmed by stress trying to make extremely important decisions that will impact your life.

Once completed, you will have a better understanding of your options, choices, needs and preferences including what you do not want with your Health Care support. This allows for peace of mind so you can get on with living life fully now in each moment. Why not bring a family member or friend and begin to gently open the conversations (that can be difficult to do) and explore together what matters most to you both within a small, safe group of curious individuals.

REGISTER NOW:
All attendees who register will receive at no cost, an email copy of an Advanced Directive form upon request. The AD form will be discussed and walked through on event day.

Melissa hopes to meet you there Noosa River in the park, close vacinity to the Boathouse Restaurant & opposite Deadly Espresso cafe. Thank you.
