The 17th May is the anniversary when homosexuality was removed from the WHO Classification of Diseases in 1990. Whilst this was a significant step forward in creating a more inclusive and accepting society, the LGBTQIA+ community still face discrimination today. IDAHOBIT is an opportunity to reflect on historical prejudice, to ensure we continue to work towards building a better future for all LGBTQIA+ people.
Join us on 15th May at The Royal from 5:30pm for a special edition of Pride WA Networking in recognition of IDAHOBIT. Bring a colleague, ally, or the whole work crew to be amongst like-minded people. Drinks specials and nibbles provided. This event is free to attend, but registration is requested.
