Celebrate Raksha Bandhan, honoring the eternal bond that unites us all!
Raksha Bandhan means “bond of protection” in Sanskrit. In many traditions, this festival symbolizes the sacred tie between brothers and sisters. For yogis, the festival takes on a deeper meaning; it is a celebration of the bond that connects all of humanity: our united purpose to benefit all beings.
Just as a sister ties a sacred thread around her brother’s wrist, our Gurus offer a personal blessing of protection, called a rakhi, to anyone who wishes to receive it. Join us for this rare opportunity to celebrate unity in our divided world!
