Are you ready to start or build your career in the automotive industry?

Redlands Jobs Connect – Automotive gives local job seekers and apprenticeship candidates the opportunity to meet automotive employers face to face, learn about their businesses and discuss current and upcoming recruitment opportunities.

Employers attending the event may be seeking candidates for:

• Automotive apprenticeships

• Current or future employment

• Work experience

• School-based pathways

• Opportunities commencing in 2027

This event is suitable for:

• Automotive Apprenticeship-ready candidates

• School leavers and job seekers interested in entering the automotive industry

• People with relevant skills or experience seeking automotive employment

• Secondary school students interested in automotive careers and starting a school-based apprenticeship

WHAT TO EXPECT

Candidates will receive a short welcome and preparation briefing (online) to help you prepare and make the most of this opportunity to meet employers with automotive recruitment opportunities.

You will then have opportunities to:

• Introduce yourself to local automotive employers

• Learn about their businesses and employment needs

• Ask questions about automotive careers and apprenticeships

• Discuss your skills, experience and career goals

• Explore apprenticeship, employment and work-experience opportunities

• Build connections that may lead to immediate or future interviews, work trials, employment or apprenticeships.

HOW TO PREPARE

Please:

• Bring printed copies of your résumé or profile (we will provide a profile template for you to make it easy)

• Dress neatly and be ready to meet employers

• Prepare a brief introduction about yourself

• Be ready to discuss your skills, experience and career goals

• Think of questions you would like to ask employers.

Information about an optional online candidate-preparation session will be provided to registered attendees before the event.
