This continuing education course for mental health providers examines how religious trauma fits within the general paradigm of trauma. This course offers 2.75 NBCC-approved CE credit hours.
Upon completion, participants will be able to:
- Describe at least 3 characteristics that religious trauma shares with general trauma
- Describe at least 3 ways that the impacts of religious trauma are similar to those of other complex trauma experiences
- Identify at least 2 trauma-informed interventions that are helpful in treating religious trauma
