Event description

This continuing education course for mental health providers examines how religious trauma fits within the general paradigm of trauma.  


Upon completion, participants will be able to:

  • Describe at least 3 characteristics that religious trauma shares with general trauma
  • Describe at least 3 ways that the impacts of religious trauma are similar to those of other complex trauma experiences
  • Identify at least 2 trauma-informed interventions that are helpful in treating religious trauma
