Draw Plants Together workshops at VINC Nursery 


Join Craig from Draw Plants Together for a creative way to spend your Saturday mornings in the propagation shed and outdoors at VINC Nursery in Yarra Bend.

A friendly opportunity to spend some time with the plants grown at the nursery, and to experiment with different approaches to drawing in a supportive and inclusive space. 

  • All drawing materials provided

  • Please contact Craig with any access needs

  • The sessions include a gentle walk and draw in the ‘wetland’ / seed production area of the nursery. Please bring wear comfortable footwear and sun/rain protection

Victorian Indigenous Nurseries Co-op is a not-for-profit co-operative, and has been an integral part of local ecological restoration since 1985. VINC propagates and supplies plants to local councils and contractors, schools, community groups, landscape gardeners and members of the public. VINC website

More about Craig

Craig Burgess (he/him) is an artist, facilitator and nature lover. Craig has hosted Draw Plants Together drawing workshops since 2023. He has completed studies in Art (RMIT, VCA) and an Advanced Certificate in Relational Gestalt Therapy (Gestalt Therapy Australia). Craig participated in the Habitat and Conservation Management Course with Darebin Creek Management Committee in 2024 and works at VINC.
