Whiskey for a cause!
We’re rolling out all of the stops for this noble cause. This will be our most high end whiskey tasting event to date with 100% of tickets sales being donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
This tasting will include the first ever release of the incredibly limited Angel’s Envy Cellar Collection Series and Maker’s Mark Cellar Aged collections.
The Angel’s Envy series is an exclusive set of first time experimental cask finish Angel’s Envy varieties. This series includes:
Angel’s Envy Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Oloroso Sherry Casks
Angel’s Envy Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Tawny Port Wine Barrels
Angel’s Envy Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Madeira Casks.
The Maker’s Mark Cellar Aged is a blend of 11 and 12 year-old whiskey where the barrels used in Cellar Aged were matured for around six years in traditional Maker’s Mark warehouses then moved into a special cellar partially cut into a limestone hill. This new aging environment slows charred oak’s influence on the whiskey, and the additional five to six years imparts depth without veering into over-oaked territory. It is then bottled at cask strength, just over 115 proof.
In addition to the Cellar Collection tasting experience, we will also be hosting a fundraising silent auction of premium branded bar swag.
Chef Harvey will also be creating a special hors d’œuvre menu of charcuterie and sandwiches for your charity day drinking pleasure.
