SeeSpace is a multi-arts space based in Lismore for artists who veer from the 'typical' in many ways, and certainly in creative output. Before the floods, the space (a converted broom factory) held extraordinary collections of oddities, artworks, inventions, and studios. They hosted live performances and served as a meeting place for a bustling community of creatives and activists from Lismore and abroad.
The space was hit hard by the floods, and artists like Tralala Blip, Blue Cheese, the Middle of the Road and Useless Assembly don't have a place to create and rehearse. The clean-up effort is huge, and the building itself is in need of repair. It's important that the artists and organisers can get back to making and meeting again as soon as possible.
