Snow Concert Hall’s 2027 Season continues, and builds on, our tradition of bringing the very best international classical music artists to Australia’s capital.
Now in its fifth year, our international series is as ambitious, wide-ranging and star-sprinkled as it’s ever been.
Joined by dynamic Australian string quartet, Orava Quartet, British pianist Paul Lewis opens the season with Beethoven’s beloved ‘Emperor’ concerto, and that sets the tone for a season of classical and Romantic masterpieces – including Beethoven’s ‘Kreutzer’ sonata performed by sensational Italian-American violinist Francesca Dego, and operatic favourites by Rossini, Mozart and Strauss performed by the legendary soprano Sumi Jo.
There will be moments of introspection with world-renowned violist Lawrence Power and his collaborator Simon Crawford-Phillips; you can expect spellbinding moments when French harp sensation Xavier de Maistre takes to the stage; and we recommend you don’t miss the moment the superstar violin virtuoso Ray Chen joins forces with Melbourne Chamber Orchestra for Vivaldi’s enduring 'The Four Seasons' paired and contrasted with a modern take on music’s ability to convey changing weather. A true season highlight.
