Surya Shakti for Children
Event description
It is very important that early in life, a child gets exposed to the right things, things that work from within because arrangements we make in the world around us can only be managed to a certain extent. - Sadhguru
Surya Shakti for Children is the ideal introduction to Yoga for ages 7 - 13. This program offers children the possibility to nurture their innate sense of joy, heighten energy, and increase focus throughout the day.
Children will learn an active form of the Sun Salutation composed of 18 powerful postures. It is designed as a holistic process for physical fitness. “Surya” means “Sun,” and “Shakti” means “energy” - a process to boost energy, and strengthen the system. Practicing Surya Shakti develops physical fitness, mental stability, and increases memory and focus.
Surya Shakti offers a unique possibility for every child to become in sync with the cycles of the sun. If our physiological cycles run in sync with the sun’s cycles, physical health will be great, mental balance will be perfect, and life will happen effortlessly. Sadhguru says, “If you are in tune with the cycles of the sun, then physical health, wellbeing, vitality, energy, these things you don’t have to bother about – they are just there with you.”
