Stand Up Paddle Along the Birrarung
Event description
Experience the Birrarung and view of the city from a truly unique perspective with Tim Brosnan of SUP Melbourne. We will be doing a 10km paddle on stand up paddle boards, from Point Park Docklands upstream to Merrel bridge and return. You do need to have some paddle boarding experience and medium level fitness to participate. You will also need your own SUP. A small number of SUP's to borrow, may be available upon request.
Accessibility: Persons with disabilities most welcome to attend, however you must provide your own paddle boarding equipment and must have good paddle boarding experience. Riverfest welcomes everyone—we’re committed to making our events accessible and inclusive for people of all abilities. If you have accessibility needs and require support to attend, please email carolyn.tate@yarrariver.org.au

Acknowledgement of Country
The Yarra Riverkeeper Association acknowledges that the lands and waterways of the Yarra, Birrarung catchment, are the unceded territories of the Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung and Bunurong peoples. We pay respect to Traditional Owners, who have, and continue, to care for Country. We acknowledge that the river now called Yarra has always been known as the Birrarung by its custodians.
