“Anything can disable us at any time: don’t make it weird.” - Blanche DuBois, alcoholic, sad girl, neurodivergent icon.

Somewhere between performance lecture, creative forum, and camp extravaganza, State of Play uses pop culture and theatre history to interrogate assumptions about the way queer-disabled people live their lives. Anything can happen at any time: even so, we have to keep on living.

  • Co-creator & Director: Emma Palackic
