Event description
“The Australian Research Funding Landscape” is a series of online workshops delivered by UTS Aspire with the aim of showcasing the diversity of opportunities available to UTS researchers in attracting external research funding.
The series will begin with an overview session, showcasing the breadth of the research funding landscape in Australia. A number of follow-on sessions are offered in subsequent weeks, each providing detailed insights into the different funding types.
This is the registration page for the follow-on session ‘Stepping the stones - Australian grant opportunities for ECRs and MCRs’ convened by Stephan Waibel (UTS Research Office).
Stepping the Stones – Australian grant opportunities for ECRs and MCRs will be delivered as a Zoom session and continue the journey of finding research funding. Participants will be shown how to target funding best aligned to their career stage and research style. Tools highlighted during the session include the Impact Project Canvas and Research Professional.
UTS researchers will share their stories of stepping the stones and their journeys of acquiring funding to support their research. You will also be able to ask the presenters questions during a live Q&A.
