Sydney Science Trail: Live
Event description
Sydney Science Trail: Community Day at the Australian Botanic Garden
The Sydney Science Trail is back this National Science Week! Join us for a free, family-friendly science festival at the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan.
Set in the scientific heart of the Garden, this is your chance to visit our newly opened National Herbarium of NSW and see the amazing research coming out of the Australian PlantBank.
There’s something for every curious mind – from wildlife encounters, guided tours, fizzing stage experiments and more!
Meet scientists from the Australian Institute of Botanical Science as they take you through educational activities that will awe the whole family.
There’ll also be food trucks, face-painting, nature-play activities and roving performers.
Sydney Science Trail is a partnership of the Australian Museum and the Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust supported by funding from Inspiring Australia as part of National Science Week, University of Technology Sydney, University of New England and the Centenary Institute. Sydney Science Trail is proudly supported by ABC Radio Sydney.
