The Art of Confident Leadership - Perth
Event description
Confident leadership, when it's done right, creates a workplace where people embrace values such as respect, trust, communication and accountability instead of sabotaging values like avoidance, indecisiveness, blaming, micromanaging or people pleasing.
This training will teach you how to become a confident, respected leader, an empowering role-model, and driver of success, for yourself, your team, your organisation and your bottom line.
TRAINING OUTLINE
Part 1: UNDERSTANDING
- Identifying your leadership style and how it's impacting your decisions, behaviour and communication without realising.
- Why we choose to stay safe instead of being seen and the impact this has on productivity, trust and culture.
- How we choose “nice” over “necessary” communication, and how this is interpreted by our teams, and other stakeholders.
- Getting clear on how to be assertive without being aggressive.
- Identifying the values, behaviour and skill-deficits that are preventing us from being confident leaders and the impact this is having on us and our team.
Part 2: APPLYING
- How to move from reactive problem-solving to proactive problem-preventing.
- The four-step method that will help you manage and respond to people who push back, issue ultimatums or create resistance.
- The language that inspires people to embrace self-accountability.
- How to stop taking things personally and start setting the example.
Part 3: IMPLEMENTING
- Identifying the values, behaviour and skills that we demonstrate as confident leaders.
- Reflecting on key learnings and the steps we need to take to align with our new, confident leadership.
- Identifying potential challenges and the actions that will help us address and manage them.
