Sat, 25 Oct, 2pm - 5pm AEST

Event description

A big queer afternoon of honky acoustic blues & roots by Nikolaine Martin, sapphic sea shanties from the Salty Sirens and the hottest new queer pop-punk band in town, The Soft Cunts!

The artists:

Nikolaine Martin

Genre-bending and fiercely authentic, fusing nimble, blues-soaked instrumentation, jazz-infused honky-tonk keys, and raw vocal power into an electrifying, no-rules performance. With fearless improvisation and deep musical roots, every show is a bold, unfiltered celebration of the human experience.

The Salty Sirens

Scissor me timbers! Sapphic Sailors Kristy “Capstanfield” (vocals and accordion) and Elyse “Fishpatrick” (vocals and whale facts) have been rocking boats the country wide since 2021 with their sea shanties, SHE shanties and sea songs with a modern, queer twist. Together with their bellowing squeezebox 'Moni', The Salty Sirens weave tales of daring adventure, defiance and debauchery on the high seas. Hoist the anchor and limber up those sealegs - these shore aren't your grandpa's sea shanties!
