The Clarence Jazz Festival is delighted to welcome to the Frogmore Jazz Lounge, Australia’s legendary leading Jazz vocalist and three-time ARIA-award recipient, Vince Jones.

As one of Australia’s premier exponents of Jazz - an evening with Vince promises to be a night of musical indulgence. Audiences will enjoy his smooth, velvet voice, as he performs his much loved original material such as Trustworthy little Sweethearts as well as new contemporary interpretations of his favourite jazz standards by other greats such as Ray Charles, Donny Hathaway and Curtis Mayfield. 

With a career now in its 40th year of performing, Jones has a catalogue of 22 albums, ARIA awards amongst others, and has sold close to a million records worldwide. Including his iconic ‘Come in Spinner’ soundtrack, the highest selling Australian Jazz album of all time. 

Always particular about the musical company he keeps, he’s enjoyed playing with the best musicians the country has to offer and for these concerts the tradition continues with the exceptional Matt McMahon on Piano, Ben Robertson on Double Bass, Felix Bloxsom drums and John Mackey on Tenor Saxophone.
