Mental Health First Aid Refresher
Event description
The Standard Mental Health First Aid Refresher Course is a 4 hour, face-to-face course that allows people who have previously completed the Standard MHFA course to refresh their knowledge and skills. For people who are accredited Mental Health First Aiders, this course offers an opportunity to extend their accreditation for a further 3 years.
This Refresher course is available for anybody who has completed the Standard Mental Health First Aid course within the last three years. If you are unsure, you can check your Certificate of Accreditation for the accreditation expiry date. For those whose accreditation has expired, a full Standard Mental Health First Aid course is available to maintain accreditation. For more information, please visit the MHFA Refresher FAQ page.
Supported by UC Medical and Counselling Centre, this course is open to all University of Canberra staff and students at a subsidised fee. The fees are outlined below:
