LinkedIn is a powerful way to promote and build your individual brand, profile your expertise and expand personal and industry connections. As the world’s largest professional online network with more than 630 million members and 30 million companies, LinkedIn provides a professional platform to network and collaborate, promote your business, and stay informed of current trends and industry developments.

Used correctly, LinkedIn can significantly enhance and facilitate opportunities for personal and business growth. But knowing how to best use the features of LinkedIn can be challenging. This workshop will assist you to learn how to best engage with this business platform.

This topic covers:
  • The importance of LinkedIn
  • How to engage effectively
  • Creating posts that strengthen your business brand
  • Creating a strong LinkedIn profile - customisation strategies
  • Using hashtags and tagging
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn's algorithms - keep your posts in your contacts' feed for longer

To get the most out of this workshop, it is recommended but not compulsory that you have access to a second screen (i.e. monitor, phone, tablet, laptop) to work on your LinkedIn profile. If you haven't got one already, click here to sign up to LinkedIn. 

This workshop is for people who are in business and want to more effectively use LinkedIn to achieve their business objectives.

The facilitator of this topic, ECU's Executive Education Team at the School of Business and Law is dedicated to providing impactful workshops tailored to help small businesses in Western Australia thrive through sustainable growth. Their workshop content has been developed in consultation with industry experts and university resources to equip you with the skills to succeed.

Bookings are limited to two tickets each, however you can make more than one booking. If you are booking for more than one person, please provide each person's email address so they receive our emails with important links and downloads.

If you cannot attend, please cancel so your place can be made available to another business owner. You can cancel your booking from the update order button on your order confirmation email. Cancellations and refunds for paid workshops can be made up to 24 hours before the workshop starts.
