UTS Research Breakfast - Celebrating Research Success
Event description
Welcome back to UTS for 2025!
It is with great pleasure to invite you to the first UTS Research Breakfast of the year, 'Celebrating UTS Research’, which will be held in the RES Hub space at 8:30am-9:30am on Thursday 6 March. This is the first of four Research Celebration events through 2025.
These Breakfast events take place every few months and are an opportunity for staff to get together, celebrate successes (or commiserate the near-wins!) and spark new ideas for the next exciting research project.
The focus of this Breakfast event is to bring our community together and recognise those that have recently received (or nearly received) significant funding, or a prize and award at UTS; and also, those that support their amazing work. It is the community that makes UTS the very special place it is to work and flourish.
Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) Professor Kate McGrath and Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research) Professor Chris Turney will attend and celebrate the terrifically important work you are undertaking. Everyone is invited so please do spread the word with your fellow academic and professional staff, PhDs – anyone who makes UTS research possible. Following a few words of welcome and celebration, you will have the opportunity to mix and mingle with these colleagues over a light breakfast, and we hope, make new research connections and share ideas and thinking.
