Crafting Literature Reviews: Key Strategies for Effective Research and Writing
Literature reviews are essential for clinical practice, academia, and research. Literature reviews are instrumental in building, contributing, and advancing knowledge within a field or discipline. Literature reviews can vary in structure and style, influenced by the particular requirements of the research topic.
In order to produce a literature review that is thorough, comprehensive, and impactful, it is important to utilise effective research and writing strategies. Crafting an effective literature review requires a blend of rigorous research and proficient writing skills. Organising the literature review logically and coherently is essential. A well-structured review should have a clear introduction that outlines the purpose and scope of the study. It should then present the main themes or concepts that emerge from the literature, providing a comprehensive overview and summary of the existing knowledge.
This webinar highlights the fundamental techniques required for crafting quality literature reviews that significantly contribute to the existing body of knowledge.
Topics covered in this webinar include:
- Defining what a literature review is
- Discussing the purpose of a literature review
- Outlining the components and elements involved in conducting a literature review
- Exploring the typical structure of a literature review
