Women 4 STEM Move the Needle Series - Intersectionality Revisited
Event description
Join Women 4 STEM in the fourth and final of our 'Move the Needle' Events. Proudly sponsored by Robert Half.
Building on the success of last year’s WorkWell Respect Program (WWRN), Women 4 STEM is bringing together industry leaders to continue the conversation and turn intersectional insights into action.
In this face-to-face luncheon discussion, we’ll revisit the key elements of intersectionality. It isn’t a buzzword - it’s a practical reminder that people don’t experience work on a single axis. Role, race, gender, disability, caring load, visa status, age… they stack. Policy that sees only one dimension often misses the real story.
Explore practical steps you and your workplace can take to foster safe, inclusive environment, and an invitation to look again with a wider lens. This session will also create space for accountability, knowledge-sharing, and meaningful dialogue on driving real change in workplaces.
✨ What to expect:
Hear from industry leaders as they share practical insights in our panel session
Take-home resources and practical actions to apply in your workplace
Unpack a case study together through an intersectional lens
