Event description

Author Tracey Dembo writes books that inspire children to be bold, brave and believe in themselves – and now she’s going to show you how to do that in your own writing! Drawing on the quirky, rule-breaking and utterly hilarious style of her latest picture book, This Book Is A Time Machine, Tracey will take you on a madcap adventure of wrangling wild ideas into stories that make sense.

Recommended for ages 7 - 12.

Tracey Dembo, author of picture books An A to Z of Dreaming Differently and This Book Is A Time Machine, is passionate about encouraging big questions, daring dreams and wild imaginations. She believes in the power of good stories, well-timed jokes and freshly baked cakes.

IMPORTANT NOTE

  • All workshop materials will be provided and are included with your ticket.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes early.
  • Children 12 and under are welcome to explore Scribblers Festival under the supervision of a parent or guardian. Entry for ONE accompanying adult is included with each ticket.
