Event description

THIS IS AN EVENT FOR UNIVERSITY HOUSE MEMBERS AND THEIR GUESTS

In celebration of World Poetry Day, join poet Nadia Niaz, to discuss her debut poetry collection The Djinn Hunters with Peter Steele Poet in Residence Maxine Beneba Clarke. Nadia Niaz's The Djinn Hunters (Rabbit Publishing, 2023) is a work that traverses continents, generations and poetic forms. Lyrical, nuanced and arresting, it is a generous, poignant song of home and heart. Join the poet for a reading from The Djinn Hunters, and a discussion about the collection, and poetry at large.
