Yin yoga, Pranayam & Meditation ~ Winter Cocoon
Event description
We are transitioning towards the longest night and the shortest day of the year, the Winter Solstice.
To mark this turning point and to tend to our inner fire, I'm inviting you to join me on the Winter Solstice Sunday 23 June afternoon for two hours of yin, pranayam and meditation.
During this afternoon you are welcome to let go of any doing, holding or thinking, and surrender into simply being. Nature is in its utmost stillness and rest over the winter months, to emerge anew in spring.
We will restore our reservoirs through:
- yin yoga targeting kidney and bladder meridians
- pranayam balancing the lunar and solar currents of our energy body
- meditation in the nest of our hearts
All bodies welcome. No previous experience required.
Sunday 23 June
4 – 6 pm
AUD 55/pp
Limited spots available to ensure a spacious and safe container for all.
Please bring your bolster and any other props you may need.
Our yoga shala has mats, blankets and blocks for all.
With love,
Taru
