Welcome to The Art of Stopping

Thank you for joining us for the very first The Floating Mind and Yoga Floating Sound Bath at The Water Affect, Erina.

Come Float with us is an invitation to step away from the constant doing, the noise and the demands of everyday life. In a world that so often celebrates being busy, this experience is about giving yourself permission to simply stop — to float, breathe, connect and be supported by the water and sound.

Your Floating Sound Bath

Time: 5:30pm – 6:45pm
Location: The Water Affect
Address: 4/241 The Entrance Road, Erina

Please wear something comfortable that you can completely relax in. You will be floating on a mattress on top of the water rather than being immersed in the pool; however, your feet may get wet as you enter and exit your float.

Your Client Intake Form and Waiver will be emailed to you prior to the event. Please complete and return these before attending your session.

Everything else is taken care of. Simply arrive, settle in and allow yourself the space to stop.

The Floating Mind and Yoga is a Central Coast wellness practice created around a simple belief: relaxation and wellbeing shouldn’t be an occasional indulgence — they should be part of how we look after ourselves for the long term. Through Floating Sound Baths, Aqua Yoga and personalised Sound & Space experiences, we create nurturing environments where people are invited to step away from the noise, slow down and genuinely stop. Combining the supportive qualities of water with movement, breath, stillness and the immersive sounds of Himalayan singing bowls, each experience is designed to create space for deep rest and reconnection.

At the heart of The Floating Mind and Yoga is an understanding of what constant doing, high performance and busy lives can demand of us — and the importance of making recovery part of the way we live, rather than something we wait until we need. From group experiences hosted at The Water Affect in Erina, to private and concierge sessions, retreats, events and corporate wellbeing experiences, our approach is calm, considered and deeply personal. Whether you come to move through Aqua Yoga, float beneath the sound of singing bowls, or experience the quiet of a one-to-one Sound & Space session, you are invited to leave the outside world behind for a while.
