Zoom playtime: A space to explore, test, and learn together
This fall, the TL Commons invites KPU educators to join us for a series of Zoom Playtime sessions; informal, 60-minute gatherings designed to offer a safe and supportive space to ask questions, explore built-in Zoom features, and test out learning activities or assessment ideas in preparation for teaching in an online synchronous environment. Whether you're unsure about using Zoom tools with students, curious about what’s possible, or have an idea you'd like to experiment with in a live online setting, these sessions are for you.
You don’t need to come with anything prepared, just bring your curiosity. We’ll explore Zoom’s built-in features together, including breakout rooms, collaborative whiteboards, and other interactive tools that can help you create more engaging, student-centered learning experiences. If you have an activity you’d like to test or a feature you’ve been hesitant to try, we’re here to support you. Each session will be co-hosted by a Teaching & Learning Strategist and a Learning Analyst, so you’ll have both pedagogical and technical expertise on hand to guide your exploration.
