Woodcut Course

This course explores the bold and graphic nature of relief woodblock printmaking to create a multi-colour original print.

You will be shown how to prepare blocks, techniques to transfer imagery, carving methods, ink preparation and rolling up techniques – along with registration methods for multi-block works.

By the end of the workshop you will have printed by hand, using an etching press or an antique Albion press to create your own original prints.
