ePortfolio learning is a high impact, authentic learning task that enables students to reflect on their learning by making connections to prior and future learning and transforming their understanding in meaningful ways. Assessing eportfolio learning can be highly impactful with ongoing feedback assisted by PebblePad and ATLAS’ powerful feedback tools.
This online, synchronous 3 session workshop introduces KPU instructors to the ATLAS side of PebblePad—the powerful assessment, teaching, and learning hub. ATLAS supports both formative and summative assessment, enabling instructors to guide students through self-reflection, peer review, and structured feedback using customizable templates, rubrics, and grading tools.
Through hands-on experience, participants will explore how to use ATLAS to design and manage ePortfolio assessments that are clear, relevant, and adaptable across learning environments. Through guided activities, instructors will learn to disseminate templates and workbooks, integrate ATLAS with Moodle, review student submissions, and provide effective feedback using built-in tools and rubrics. By the end of the session, participants will be equipped to create flexible, student-centered assessment experiences that support reflection, engagement, and meaningful learning that is rich in feedback and flexible across delivery models.
