Boyd Park Bird Blitz

Join urban biodiversity specialist Dr. Jacinta Humphry for an exciting bird blitz at Boyd Park.  

Learn how to identify local bird species and use the iNaturalist app to record your sightings. Your observations will contribute to the Great Southern Bioblitz 2025, helping to map and protect urban wildlife in our community. Don’t miss this chance to connect with nature and support biodiversity conservation! 

What to bring: 

• A smartphone or tablet with the iNaturalist app installed (we’ll help you get started!) 

• Hat, sunscreen, and a water bottle 

• Comfortable shoes for walking outdoors 

Can’t attend the walks? No problem — you can explore nature in your own time over the four days and record and submit your observations.
