BRIGHTON BREATH & BEATS 🌊

Rise early. Breathe deep. Dance freely. Feel ALIVE!

Forget the big night out. We're bringing you the BIG morning out!

Think beachside festival vibes, uplifting beats, invigorating breathwork, icy plunges, playful energy and a whole community coming together to experience something a little different.

Welcome to Brighton Breath & Beats — a vibrant Sunday morning experience designed to lift your spirits, awaken your senses and leave you riding a natural high!

Set against the beautiful backdrop of the Brighton waterfront, we're combining the grounding power of breathwork and meditation with the exhilaration of cold water, music, movement and connection.

It's wellness, but perhaps not as you know it!

No late nights. No hangovers. Just good people, good energy and all those delicious feel-good chemicals your body knows how to create naturally.

WHAT'S HAPPENING?

Breathwork & Meditation — Slow down, tune in and discover how powerful your breath can be in shifting your energy, mood and mindset.

Ice Baths — Step outside your comfort zone, embrace the cold and experience the invigorating rush of doing something you didn't think you could!

Silent Disco — Pop on your headphones, let the beats take over and dance like nobody's watching. Pure joy, movement and freedom!

And plenty more! — Games, face painting, coffee, refreshments and space to connect, play, laugh and soak up the beautiful waterfront atmosphere.

EVERY BODY IS WELCOME

This is about bringing people together.

Whether you're a seasoned breathworker, a curious first-timer, a cold-plunge enthusiast or someone who simply fancies swapping their usual Sunday morning routine for something a little more exciting, there's a place for you here.

And yes, bring the kids!

We believe wellness and community shouldn't be reserved for adults, or for people who already know their way around a meditation mat.

Children are welcome to come along, play, explore, make friends and enjoy the atmosphere. There's no expectation for them to sit still, be quiet or participate in every activity.

We're creating an inclusive, supportive space where you can try something new, challenge yourself a little (or a lot!), meet like-minded people and experience the joy of doing something together.

Come on your own, bring your mates or make it a family morning out.

No experience necessary. No pressure to participate in everything. Just come as you are.

✨ WHY WE'RE DOING THIS

Because feeling good doesn't have to come from a big night out.

Sometimes the biggest buzz comes from getting up with the sun, breathing deeply, plunging into something uncomfortable, dancing your heart out and sharing the experience with a bunch of other humans.

We want to bring something fresh, fun and uplifting to the Brighton community.

Something that brings together wellness and playfulness, stillness and exhilaration, personal growth and genuine human connection.

An opportunity to step out of your usual routine, shift your mindset and remember just how good it can feel to be ALIVE.

Come curious. Leave invigorated, connected and buzzing with good energy!

FAQs

  • I've never done breathwork, meditation or anything like this before. Is that okay?

Absolutely! In fact, we LOVE first-timers! This event is all about trying something new, getting curious and having fun. Everything will be guided, and you're welcome to participate at your own pace. No experience necessary, just bring an open mind!

  • Do I HAVE to get in the ice bath?

Nope! We're all about stepping outside your comfort zone, not being pushed outside it.

We'll encourage and support you if you're curious, but there's absolutely no pressure.

You get to decide what feels right for you.

  • Do I have to be a good dancer to join the silent disco?

    Good dancer? What's that?! 😂

This is about moving your body, letting loose and enjoying yourself, not impressing anyone with your moves.

Two left feet, questionable rhythm, enthusiastic dad dancing, more of a toe tapper— It's ALL welcome!

And just like the ice bath, there's no pressure, take your time, enjoy the music and join in when and if you are ready.

  • Is it safe?

Your wellbeing is really important to us. Activities will be guided, with instructions and support to help you participate safely and comfortably. There will be opportunities to opt out or modify activities if you have health or mobility needs,

Breathwork and cold-water immersion aren't suitable for everyone, particularly those with certain medical conditions. If you're pregnant, have cardiovascular or respiratory concerns, or are unsure whether an activity is appropriate for you, please check with your healthcare professional beforehand and chat with us.

And remember, participation is always your choice.

  • Can I bring my kids?

YES! We love that this is something families can experience together.

Kids are welcome to come along, play, explore and enjoy the atmosphere. There's no expectation for them to sit still, be quiet or participate in the guided activities.

Children attend FREE (silent disco headphones aren't included), and all under-15s must be supervised by a responsible adult. Some activities, particularly the ice baths, may not be suitable for children.

  • What if I come on my own?

Please do! One of the biggest reasons we're creating this event is to bring people together. Come solo, meet some new faces and enjoy being part of a vibrant, welcoming community.

  • What if I'm not really a wellness person?

Perfect! You don't have to be!

You don't need to meditate daily, own crystals, drink green juice or know anything about breathwork. This is about feeling good, having fun, connecting with others and discovering something new.
