Event description

It just got a lot easier to equip your role with more tools and knowledge!

From learning workshops to online meetups and information channels, the Frontline Worker Development (FWD) Network creates opportunities for frontline support and care roles to access connections, services, professional development - and each other.

Bundaberg's FWD Networking Night is about bringing frontline workers from different care sectors (e.g., disability, aged care, other community fields) together, and provide them a rare opportunity to connect with each other and learn.

Featuring:

  • Key local guests
  • Relaxed informal settings
  • New connections with peers accross the sectors
  • Refreshments supplied

Please note: The network is for frontline support/care worker roles only.  Those in leader or manager roles, or those who's work is not exclusively client facing, are encouraged to reach out to Assistance Industry Resourcing (yourteam@assistindustries.com.au) so we can link you into other opportunities.

FWD Networks is a brand new initiative for the Bundaberg, Hervey Bay & Childers regions.

Until June 2024, It has been funded to offer free, or heavily subsidised learning and connection events – solely dedicated to support and care workers.

Frontline Worker Development (FWD) Networks are one of several locally-driven programs being funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services and Social Shift, to address critical disparities in the Hinkler region.
