Description

This session is designed for corporate and industry professionals seeking to sustain high performance, strengthen resilience and prevent burnout within demanding workplace environments.

The challenge

High-performance environments often reward sustained output without adequately addressing the psychological cost of prolonged pressure. Over time, this can significantly affect wellbeing, decision-making, communication and leadership capability. Common challenges include:

  • Chronic workload pressure and emotional exhaustion

  • Reduced focus, motivation and cognitive performance

  • Difficulty maintaining boundaries and recovery

  • Burnout, disengagement and reduced professional effectiveness

  • Sustaining performance without compromising wellbeing or relationships

Our approach

Grounded in psychology and evidence-based performance science, this session draws on Maslach’s burnout research and Csikszentmihalyi’s flow theory to explore sustainable approaches to high performance, resilience and professional wellbeing.

What you’ll explore

  • The psychology and warning signs of burnout

  • Evidence-based resilience and recovery strategies

  • Understanding flow states and sustainable performance

  • Emotional regulation and cognitive performance under pressure

  • Practical approaches to workload management and boundary-setting

  • Strategies for sustaining motivation, focus and professional longevity

Who this is for

Leaders, managers and professionals operating within high-pressure corporate, commercial or industry environments.
